Our Mission
Every life is precious, and every end deserves dignity.
At Pegasos Swiss Foundation, we are dedicated to upholding the fundamental right to self-determination at the end of life. We protect and promote people’s autonomy in deciding how they want to die. We advocate for global recognition of assisted dying as a human right, supporting efforts to expand legal access and public awareness. Through our work, we ensure that those facing unbearable suffering have the choice to say goodbye on their own terms, in a setting of tranquility, respect, and care.
We use the foundation’s assets to support Pegasos Swiss Association and it’s premises, an organisation that provides voluntary assisted dying for it’s supporters.

Why It Matters
Less than 4% of the worldwide population has access to assisted dying, while a substantial portion of the population in various regions worldwide supports the option of assisted dying.
